Corolla dials may seem ok, till you drive with them in the night on dark country roads. There is no dimmer for the dashboard/dial lights, so the strong glare shines in your eyes obstructing your vision. Also, as I mentioned in my India rally thread, its a nightmare when negotiating sharp right hand bends and haripins as the glare bounces off the drivers side window and you just can't see a thing. I had to lower the window on one stretch of twisty hills near Jaipur just so I could see the road!!

Classic case of form over function.

The description is exactly what is found in the optitron meter in the NHC VTEC. And the subtle changes give an awesome effect.

You have to see it to believe it.

BTW - one of the worst dials I have seen are on the Elantra - purple - yuckkk.

Guess no one here likes the 1.6 Ikon dials. They look nice too with the green light..only thing is that its lit up from the front (correct me if i'm wrong). The Corolla dials are impressive but a bit too bright like RT says. The Elantra has a disco dial kit , absolutely garish. The Palio is ok , The NHC is cool too but the Accord is great just a bit too bright for my liking, thats why I have the Skoda dials at the lowest lighting always.

You can control the intensity of dials in Accord

The Civic dials look good, but i'd still prefer the old fashioned analogue type dials that most cars still have..

there is nothing spectacular about the dials ... they are simple ... the illumination is just right though

I am with adya33 on this... I love the LED speedo panels... first caught my eye when lexus introduced them a couple of years ago.... Out of the Indian cars the New Accord's speedo is really good......besides that love the speedo on the new E-class specially the cool blue screen in the middle looks very smart.
