I presume you would be driving a Right Hand drive vehicle ( I am considering 4 wheelers) . How would you then signal with your left hand? leaning over your co passenger and signalling from the left ?

The correct hand signal would be making round circles anti-clockwise with your right hand sticking out.

As a child and in my teen years, I used to see many drivers perform this signal with their right hand for indicating left turns. I have not seen such hand signal for over a decade now.
