| ![]() If it is sure that toyota is going to launch the fortuner, you should wait for it (if you have time). I checked it out (not in India) and it is wonderful vehicle, but i havnt had a test drive. Good features, good engine, good space inside and above all good offroad capability. It has almost all features in prado LX version (not the VX which is available here). expected at a price around 15lakhs, it a good vehicle for that price. 2. Good engine - They sell it with 2 engine options here, a 2.7 litre VVTi and a 4.5 litre V6. You can bet that we wont get either engine in India - if we do, the price will put it into the 20 lakhs plus range. We will probably get the two engines currently doing duty on the Innova. 3. Good space inside - I beg to disagree. The rear seat is quite cramped for a vehicle of that size. Maybe I'm spoilt, but my knees were too close to the driver's backside for comfort. 4. Good offroad capability - its a softroader. Finally it looks like an Innova on stilts, which is as attractive as Mamata Banerjee wearing stilettos. Its a good vehicle, but nothing to rave about. The USP is that its a Toyota. | |
