The seats appear thinner to me, which may not be good for comfort over long rides.

It seems they have taken a leaf from Tata's vehicle testing strategy & could be testing the vehicle for ages before introducing in market. I fear it may be have lost the utility by then.

Friends, any news on when this beauty would be launched?
Also, have the following 2questions
1) Are those projector headlights or just redesigned clear lens?
2) I do not think the tail lamps are LED's can somebody confirm?

I doubt anyone can answer this at this point of time. M&M usually tests their cars with other products' bumper / headlights / tail lights etc.

The rear bumper is from a 4x4, but doesn't have the identifying tow-hook at the back, so not sure if this is a 4wd. If it is, the absence of the protruding Auto-locking hub is a good news, hopefully retrofitable on older 4wd scorpios.

The next generation Scorpio will likely launch in 2016 and will be based on an all-new platform - inspired in looks by the XUV.

Above pics are of the Mahindra mini-SUV. The size of the car, the grille and the compact rear all indicate towards it. Just compare it with the pics CARDEEP posted a few posts above. They don't resemble the new Scorpio from any angle.

IAB has it wrong.

The mahindra mini suv IMO is a monocoque construction. The rear pics shows a ladder frame onto which the body is mounted. So, this looks something else to me, maybe a Tata.

This could be the SUV, dubbed the U301 is a body-on-ladder SUV that is likely to be positioned alongside the Bolero .

The Mini -SUV's are being developed on the Ssangyong X100 monocoque platform and are c0de-named the S101 and S102.

Above photos are surely a Mahindra Vehicle. From the first glance this does look like the S101, but then if we see the placement of the rear door, which is a scorpio door along with tail-lamps, which also look like taken from the Scorpio parts-bin, this could be something else. Maybe a next-gen Scorpio or the U-301.

This doesn't look like the new Scorpio or anything. Just the facelifted Scorpio expected soon in sub 4m variant.

It could most probably be that the Scorpio facelift will be launched in sub 4m option and the regular variant like the Xylo/Quanto.

Great scoop! This is rear-wheel drive based surely, going by the large rear diff. This is ladder frame. So definitely something exciting is cooking.
