| ![]() Apart from the looks (I know, I know, they're subjective), this appears to be a good offering by M&M. They've made some small but useful changes like side cladding for all variants, PW switches on driver door instead of below the handbrake and hydraulic struts for the bonnet. IMO, the S6+ with the driver airbag and ABS, but without the fancy gizmos seems to be the best buy of the lot. Pity it doesn't have fog lamps and front arm-rests. | ![]() I like the following about the new Scorpio : * It has hyudarulic lifts for the bonnet! Even the XUV does not have that. * The front looks amazing. I like it in Blue and Black. * The interiors are neat. * Safety features present in 4 out of 5 variants. * Amazing pricing - significantly cheaper than the Storme and the Innova. What I did not like: * Those grab handle like things on the rear! |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() is the design supposed to 'grow' on to you? IMHO this is a damn confused design. The interiors are very cool 'the past but of the future' feel to it. But the front face is just hideous. cheers, ac |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Finally the ugly monster comes out in public. I liked the interiors though. Also the color blue looks nice. This below pic(thanks to overdrive) makes it clear why its ugly. Too many lines and none of them converge !! ![]() |

| ![]() I like the Scorpio in all ways. The rear is camaflouged in black. I am disappointed that there is no 3rd row AC vents either xylo type of XUV Type. ![]() Quote:

| ![]() It happens again. Mahindra has the last laugh. People who were criticizing the design have started liking it. The same thing happened with XUV 500 launch. I maintain opinion on XUV even now, but I have really started liking the new Scorpio in darker colors. It looks really nice both in and out. They should replace that white model from all the publicity material. Those grab handles in the back, may be there is a way to remove and keep them out. | ![]() i was able to catch the Webcast in parts but i think overall despite what many opinions are Mahindra has got a Winner in form of the new Scorpio. With the pricing it has i am sure it will be a runaway success. During the Webcast i think i heard the word "new gearbox" am i right ? and if they have a new gearbox i am sure the gear ratio's would be different too. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() The front portion looks smart and nice. But they have messed up the rear. They could have done a better job. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Well the On-road pricing's are out and from feature and safety perspective the model to go for will be S6+. However there is steep difference between S4 and S6 variants. Carwale.com has updated the On-Road Pricing in Bangalore ![]() Why do they have to make the S4 variant without Power Window control on Door ? And no Arm rest for front seats even in S6 variant ![]() Last edited by soumobakshi : 25th September 2014 at 16:17. |
