Taillights have too much bling, looks like one of those chinese toys with excessive lights and plastic.

So for me the Reliability is the top priority, I have a 2003 Non-CRDE scorpio, and it has been totally reliable even through my 3 trips to Leh. Now that I am looking to upgrade, Mahindra is out, because of the too many niggles with the sensors, electronics etc in the current generation of vehicles and the terrible Service Centers.

Maybe you had a bad experience with the mHawks. My mHawk was pretty reliable with nothing major required except the normal services.

Why have to put bumper guard/ rear bull bar on a brand new (yet to be launched) vehicle?

This will definitely look good in darker shades IMO.

This one looks like a ready for delivery vehicle(with bull bar at the rear and chrome door grabs and mirror cover) and yes the Grab handle does exist at the rear, watch closely.

Having said that, it does look better in these pics and hope the earlier grouse with limited seating space has now been resolved. Keeping fingers crossed!

The car is not as hideous as it seems in the initial pictures.
It’s just the angle of the photograph.

But disappointed with the rear black strip.

Glad with no grab rails, and definitely surprised with the rear bull bar.
Has the delivery of the new Scorpio begun?

The front is not looking bad, in fact better than the existing one. The vehicle should look good in Black, hopefully the rear black strip will not be changed to a white/chrome/silver one on the black vehicle.

I feel the front looks a little modern while maintaining the butch look.

While they got rid of the grab handles at the rear why wouldn't they keep it clean and not have that black plastic or whatever is there.

And of course, the black strip, its a Storme rip-off but it looks way off.

But then may be it looks better in flesh, would need to go and check it out in person.

With the new pics, I am pretty certain that it would look better in real life. The front is surely looking good and thank God that those grab handles are not there anymore. Or was it because of the bad angle of initial image that made the rear tower cluster look like grab handles? Scorpio's rear was never a looker in any of it's previous versions too.

The person who posted these pictures saw the new Scorpio and mentioned that those are not grab handles.

The Scorpio looks better in these pictures compared to the one posted earlier. Probably the new Scorpio looks different in different angles. IMO the more you see the vehicle in flesh the more it grows on you.

I will keep my comments on hold until I see it in flesh or probably test drive it.

These newer pics look much better and there is no blue in the rear tail lights. I wonder if there are any newer colours introduced ? Darker shades will look very apt like Dark Brown, Blue ( similar to the Fortuner Blue ) etc. With the looks part more or less settled and the new interiors, this will continue to be a sales success for M&M ( on pricing I think M&M is quite sensible - so they wont try anything adventurous )
