Re: Audi Launches S4 in India @ Rs. 45.31 lakhs

The current A6 in the US market has an 8 speed slushbox automatic. It has never had the DCT in the US market. The previous A6 had a 6 speed automatic in the US.

You can check audi's USA website: Detailed Specifications > Features and Specifications > 2012 Audi A6 Sedan > Audi of America

If the car wasn't shifting past 7th, either something was wrong, or the shift logic of the transmission didn't allow it.

What is the current ex-showroom price of the S4? I am sure Audi will capitalize on the CLA45AMG's pricing to hike the S4 into the 60+ lakh bracket.
