Maruti is planning to facelift Wagon R again.It will have new Headlamps and tall tail lamps with brake lamp mounted in bumper. will also have new interiors.most prob this will be based on Wagon R solio displayed in AutoExpo

It looks great, Front is a take off from Swift. It will have high sales. Besides I have heard that Wagon R may also feature Maruti fitted CNG kits. If that is true then sales are going to rock !

GHood lord, that is ugly!!!! Why that grille??? Does it think its an Audi or something?

Even in the new model the number is pushed to one side. Grille doent look good. Car was given a bulk look like with the shape it was moulded & that looks better than the earlier version (not box like)

Well, Maruti does plan for a new look wagonR.. but i doubt that it will be anything like what is shown above. Most probably, its an all new design and a revamped engine.
BTW, Given the abrupt rise in WagonR sales in the past 6-7months (overtaking Santro).. i doubt Maruti will be replacing it soon.

Yes.. thats what I was waiting for.... New Wagon R to replace the current one.
Then we would have all 3 discontinued Marutis... wow!

If the new WagonR is based on Solio then I think the main difference would be, it being wider!

Now that would be a really welcome change - more space to use inside. Though I hope it doesnt turn out like the swift which looks quite wide from the outside, but is deceptively small inside ...

wont think that will be a copy of solio with grill( i pray not) and all . but for sure we can get a rough idea wat will be on the menu. company plans to bring it by year end
