So they are getting her ready after all. Headlamps appear similar to the ones on Scorpio and grille is Toyota Prado-like.

Ohhh No...Vertical Grille again......What's this obsession with rabbit like faces? Scorpio, Bolero.....and now Ingenio.

This is looking like a bigger vehicle than scorpio. Seems to be longer also.
Driving side by side with the ingenio,Have a feeling that it is not as long as the sx4 even.

The front of the vehicle looks like the innova while the rear is like the tavera, have a feeling that the ingenio would come with side facing seats at the back.

Ajmat,

Seems like you had a nice drive there. Also, it looks that the chase was in excess of 120 KMPH. Skoda and Mahindra fight. What I mean to say is that the vehicle is very much capable of highspeeds and even slowed down quite quickly in the video (ABS)?

Ajamat, thanks for the Video

I need your comments on my thoughts

I have 9 members (joint family) and wanted a replacement for Maruti omni and was looking at newly launched Tata Winger.

Now I need suggestion whether can I wait for Mahindra Ingenio? But I have following questions. If possible friends please help

1) When will this be on road ?
2) What could be the seating capacity ?
3) what could be the price ?

If the above points are positive I would like to wait for some more time.
Please provide your inputs, thanks to all in advance.

it looks awesome to me! its huge, so got to be spacious like the innova!
will be feature rich but quality will still be a suspect, i think.
as with all mahindras, i think its 2.2 engine is it's strong point. i heard it makes 140 bhp and not 120 bhp like in the scorpio. true?

I will go with Winger

Thanks friends, I will go ahead with Winger. Talk to the dealer in Bangalore and update you once I get one.

I am Novice on vehicles but following all your discussion I have gained a vast knowledge on Cars. Thanks to you all.

do you know that accents, fiestas, skodas, innovas, camrys, accords and even mercs and Beemers are used as luxury taxis sporting yellow number plates? heven't you seen that. doesn't that bother you?

If you are only occassionaly going to have the need for a 9 seater I would wait for the Ingenio. It looks more like a MUV than a van with seats (minibus) and the Winger design is more than 20 years old.

Of cause if you always need 9 seats then the Winger is the vehicle for you. I know someone who has a large passenger van (Winger type) in the UK and they have now bought a small car as it was a chore driving it around town when only 2 or 3 people wanted to go out. They now rarely use the big van as most their car journeys are limited to 5 passengers at max and they can fit 5 in their small car.

A few neighbours have MUVs (similar size and capacity to the Ingenio) and they use them all the time. They are as practical and fuel efficincy is not too bad.

If the Sumo Grande is available then do take a look at that as well. It looks like a good sturdy vehicle and with the Dicor power plant performance should be good.
