i think his son is on the forefront 4 this job...they r importing the stuff from italy...costs rs 2000 to rs 20000.

Your right.. it is his son Bonnie that is opening out a "Imported Modification" wing of DC..getting stuff like Foliatech Soy, high end accessories, etc etc.

He's doing the same what many other people are doing with other different brands. I dont think there is anything brilliant about it......but they might sell easily cause of his brand "DC"......
Heard he's going to import expensive decals/stickering as well......

Yea Beeman you heard right.. and I completely agree with you about selling only coz of the "DC" brand.. though it blows my brains to think WHY!
His workmanship is "not up to the mark"... and his designs are kind of stink.. IMO naturally.

His good brand name is only because he started early and made a name for himself.

Islero, agree with you but would also like to add.. at the point of time when DC started.. we had extremly limited choices as far as having a 'different' looking car in India unless you knew someone in STC that would get you a good imported car or you had a good car broker.
Its just a question of being at the right place at the right time.. though now I think his time has passed.. but he can't really see it!

guys saw thw report on the car n bike show nothing as u guys said there is nothin to get excited about heis just into importin various stuff's like audio systems, upholstery, etc and selling the stuff under his brand name.

I think an Octavia was displayed at the ACI autocar show displaying what all they are selling.
Also read about this some time ago and there was a picture of an Audi TT attached which had red colour stock rimsn on a black body. Looked tacky.

Opening shop in Andheri (East), called DC Trends. Supposed to stock stuff from some international brands, read expensive stuff. All the usual accessory bits, plus wings and mufflers and everything you need to go very very fast.

To govery fast or LOOK like your car CAN go very very fast.. theres one hell of a difference in the two.
Personally I think its going to be the latter...coz no matter how good your car looks... if it does not go when it needs to.. then whats the use?
