Amit, the 2.5 inline5 was designed for US and Canadian markets. In Europe there is a 2.0 16VNA Golf with FSI. Now this is different from the 2.0 8V engine that does duty on the Octy I.

Specs are very similar to the 2.5L 5 cylinder. The Skoda UK site shows the specs at 150bhp@6000rpm and torque at 148 lb. ft@3500rpm. This version comes with a 6 speed Manual in Europe! However, I am not sure if the FSI tech will work properly with Indian fuel so i would expect a huge drop in HP and torque figures in the Indian variant.
