Guys,

Lets give realistic numbers (not optimistic) so that when a person buys a car based on the numbers we get here he will not be dissappointed

So Goldie can we say your FE in city with full AC is 12

What is meaning of full or 100% AC? Does it mean AC ON full time or does it mean AC ON full time at MAX blower setting? Please elaborate. I use AC normally at 1-2 blower settings, but very seldom at 4 (Blower MAX).

100% AC means "AC ON full time".....the blower setting need not be MAX.

Guys, i heard that when AC is ON it will draw certain amount of fixed power from the engine regardless of the blower speed OR cool/heat setting (or temp setting in climate control) is it true?

I usually get about 13.75 to 15 kmpl on the highway with 100% AC on in my NHC Vtec. Taking into consideration my cruising speed of 120-120 kms and the fully loaded boot, I guess thats fine.
So I presume I should be getting about 12 kmpl in the city riding conditions. Never actually measured it though since I drive in the city very rarely.

Okay Fiat Petra, driven soberly ....

100% A/C, in city - 10 kmpl
50% A/C, in city - 11 kmpl
0% A/C, in city - 13 kmpl (The best driving I have done LOL)

On the highways it is generally 14-16 kmpl depending on the way I drive. Goldie, highway pe chalate ho kya? LOL

In a few comparisions experts mentioned that Fiesta has been tuned for perfomance pick up and is heavier than Aveo and they have suggested that Aveo would be more fuel efficient, hence range has been given differently.

If you are actually getting FE which is not in the range of choice, please put that FE in your reply on this thread.....At the end of the poll this will be factored in by the moderator.
