the thing about bawas is tht they put a lot of effort into their cars and maintain them well......... might not be true for all of them but usually they spend a lot of time and money into keeping their cars running well

Dear Pals,

Pl beware. Most of the ads you find with Lady driven cars are there to just get a good price, at least in Delhi. The husband will say that it is my second car which only my wife drives. Who is to know??

I guess they say lady driven cause it gives the impression that the chances of the mechanicals being murdered are small(considering how ahem.. men drive)

With ladies the only thing to get repaired is the transmission/clutch. heh heh

the only thing i want to say here is that the ratio of men:women driving cars is very less, so if you want to buy a car then better to go for one which is not driven by a lady.

secondly not all female drivers are bad as not all all male drivers are good. so let us not generalise and also a request to spare the fairer sex.

contd here

spare the fairer sex from this kind of humiliation. they may be bad drivers but then everybody is not the same.

sorry to go off topic but i personally feel bad about being laughed at or sneered for being a lady driver. so far thankfully nobody from here has done anything like this but i have had kind of experiences wherein i have been the target of guys who have been put off becos i turned out to be better driver then them.

there are some things which a male can be better at while females are not but then there is vice versa too.

answer to this thread's question has been answered by me in my earlier post already.

period

Never take a Doctor driven car being a good car and well maintained one at face value.

I have a doctor friend (people from new bombay will know him).

Had a Ford Ikon 1.3 - brilliant kit done by Rio , K&N , Free Flow exhaust , Recaro seats , Tacho with shift lights and he drives like a racer. Within a week of his getting the kit , goes for a long road drive , and goes into a truck(stationery) the front end is gone , comes back gets the car repaired , same kit on back again and sells the car.

Next in line - the Mitsubishi Lancer - this car goes through the whole process again....Recaro seats, K&N , Free Flow exhaust ..the works except NOS (just had to plonk in a NOS tank) was that ready and yeah did I tell you it had an LPG tank too tucked away ? The driving - racer. I think a few guys like drifter , power freak know what I'm talking about. This car is now sold.

His latest acquisition - A OHC 1.5 Exi painted a green shade that defies definition. Its got the works again ...K&N , Custom designed free flow exhaust, ported and polished heads too I think ..the driving still remains the same.

Almost all the mechanics in Vashi know him.....and all his cars have been worked upon by KS motorsports.

Doctors arent necessarily the least technically sound guys ...this friend of mine knows what he talks and does.

I would personally stay away from cars driven by ladies ( though not all ladies ). they somehow hate changing gears so they tend to take the car up to 40KM on the 1st gear, 80 on the 2nd gear and may suddenly change to 1st gear while doing 80 and may just take their foot off the cluth. I wonder what would happen to the engine .

My 2 cents for you :- check for the clutch, the engine ( they actually woud't even know that the engine oil has to be changed after couple of Km's, and the entire shell !!
