Earlier this week, Ratan Tata expressed his concerns about how without the right volumes, the Tata Nano could not achieve its potential. In a small step towards branding and perhaps to appeal to a younger demographic, Tata Motors today launched an online Nano merchandise store on the popular online shopping and auction store eBay India.

This is the first time a car brand will sell its merchandise through eBay. The company said that it had chosen to partner with eBay due to the website’s wide reach across the country. The Nano already has a strong online presence. It was one of the first cars in India to be booked online and its Facebook page has 1.6 million fans.

The online store offers Nano branded Titan watches, t-shirts for men and women, Nano-shaped pen drives and mouse, scale models, caps, key chains and so on.

Check out the Nano merchandise store here.

Premium prices there - I dont think the prices are worth it. And 1GB pen drives ? what are they thinking ?

I was hoping they had the anti-skid mats (for mob phones etc) there. The ones at the dealerships are sold out. These were really good, and were priced beautifully at Rs 57/- each.

When i booked a Nano in 2009,there were whole lot of merchandise available off the Shelf at Tata Motors.I didnt let go the chance and purchased entire range of Nano Merchandise. They are still unpacked and sealed, lying in my attic.Subsequently I cancelled my Nano booking and took refund of my down payment. But the Nano Merchandise is a good memory and still stays with me.

They're totally confused with the scale models. Is it 1/43 or 1/18?? :Frustrati

Since the prices are different as well, these look like two different models of different scale and not an error.

Edit: Just saw what you meant, different scales on the same product :p
