Yes, it is very much worth it, you get peace of mind for 4 years and it pays for itself even if you have a couple of small parts like power window motors etc replaced under extended warranty.

I did use my extended warranty to replace the balance rod bushes once.

Also, considering you are buying a Diesel car, some parts are super expensive and something like a turbo failure after the warranty expires can take you back by about 80k to a lac of rupees.

Therefore, Yes, I will recommend it for the peace of mind.
