The swift ad..the cinderella one is the worst of the lot..
Not TV, but this ad takes the cake - the radio ad for the Baleno that's playing on air, atleast in BLR. The person is 'reporting' in a constipated voice 'on a traffic jam caused by people queing up to exchange to Baleno's.
Worst Ads :
Aveo would lead the pack followed by Tata Sumo ad where some idiotic dull bored suckers say about why they own a Sumo.... I think thats the best ad for not owning a vehicle....rl:

Swift, where in that guy takes the wrong car and the way the girl chases him in his swift.... the Skid in the end is the best part
the worse ad at present is of hyundai santro 'santro waaley hai'
did you guys check the new Skoda Laura advt. .. . any comments on the same. . for me it does nothing . . i mean . . .i dont know how to react on the same.

Santro waale + Esteem 'Big' car are total duds.
Amother ad I dont remember which (Getz?) with a family going everywhere with their arms held at angles to their bodies to show how much they got used to bigger space or something..........stupid!

what about the new aveo ad. i'm not saying it is really bad but they are copying the saab ads of yore where they do the reverse tandem driving and all.

the valet gave the wrong keys. so that part makes some sense.
i noticed that whenever they mention abs in swift ads the car is skidding.
By far the worst car ad is "Santro Waley" , then a pretty bad ad was the Getz ad, which shows more skin that the poor little car.
That ad has disappeared from TV nowadays, anyone seen it recently ?
...is the best ad in a long while...car or anyother product...it's witty, to the point and has a certain staying quality.
The Safari ad, on the other hand, is the real 'dumb' one...with SO much to show off about the car, all one gets to see is an indistinct look at the car careening madly in a basement garage (did someone say "ABS"?)and the misleading line of "starts at 6.4 lakhs..." sticks in the head...mine may have started at 6.4 lakhs somewhere up the assembly line but by the time I picked it up from the dealer it cost me 12.83 lakhs!
The worst TV adv. on cars is ceratinly Chevrolet Aveo, the first one. The two key words used in the adv — fantastics & performance hv a rather adverse effect.
This adv from Chevrolet was huge disappointment after that cool adv. on Optra when Chevrolet brand was introduced in India. The background score was moving.
