I dont think so, i escort cannot be called as a flop model, atleast in hyderabad, i see a quite lot of these in deisel version. may be the petrol ones could be called as flop model.

P.S: people here still buy the escort deisel. A.F.A.I.K. the deisel escort had the enduratorq engine, the same as in the ikon 1.8D

The UNO did sell & was priced very attractively too. It was only after the inept service support came to the fore that it died & another flop(read great) car was released with a promise of better support.

Octy 2.0 - why bother with the diesel at the same price
Merc E200 - underpowered, also if you have come so far, go the whole hog
Ford Mondeo / Opel Vectra- Outslammed and out priced by the Honda Accord
Versa
Aveo - not that many compared to Fiesta - lack of diesel, have not seen any U-VA beyond the dealer one
Forester - brilliant car but target segment does not exist
Fusion - tries to be everything well but fails

Octy 2.0: Agreed.
Merc E200: Lots of them on the streets here. Most are chauffeur driven, so the owners don't care it they are underpowered as long as they have the Star.
Mondeo/vectra: agreed
Aveo: In mumbai, they are very visible. It entered the market after the fiesta and it doesn't have a diesel, so yes, it is outsold by the fiesta, but hardly a flop!
Forestor: agreed.
Fusion: Nice car, but a petrol hatch at that price was never going to be a success in India.

That's the Voyager, but couple of courier delivery guys use it. Also what abt the great monster jeep JONGA !!

the lancer is definitly not a flop car...unless your referring to the cedia...

In late 90s, Lancer used to have some snob value, atleast in south i have seen many VIPs including movie stars going around in one. Its unfortunate that the much bigger, modern and better looking Cedia is not able to come anywhere near that.
