Great pricing but more than the LPG version, GM would have done a lot better with the sequential CNG fueled version.

I have a 07 Spark and these new lights are not much different. The only difference in the headlights is the clear indicators. In my car the reverse lights are at the bottom but in this one they are included in the round lights (similar to the 09-10 version).

I suppose the new bumpers would be a direct fit on the old Spark. Maybe I'll get them fitted during the next service if they're not too expensive.

Also, would it be possible to get the new instrument cluster in the old Spark? This one looks really cool.
One last question, in this new cluster the different lights like the battery, indicators, oil, check engine etc are included inside the cluster itself, whereas in the old Spark these lights are found in the banana pod behind the steering.
So what's there in the banana pod now? is it empty? Maybe they should have added a digital tachometer there.

I would have preferred an analog tacho on the centre in place of the existing speedo and a digital speedo in the banana pod. I hope the digital fuel and temperature gauges are big and clear from the driver's seat. It looks more like they forgot these two while designing and finally squeezed them in.

From the 360 degree view in spark site, it seems they've turned the banana pod into a storage space for coins.

whats with that front grille ? First they did that for Captiva, now for Spark too. Looks like a car with mouth wide open. It should be a smiling Or grinning face.

Where is the facelift

We bought a new Spark for my wife in September and I see only 3 obvious differences.

1) New front grill
2) New grey dashboard
3) New instrument cluster

Rest looks absolutely the same as the previous version. At least, they could have added rear washer+wiper and alloy wheels.

@jkdas: From the 520 KMs driven till date, we are getting about 14 kmpl within city with AC on 90% of the times and I think its a fare FE. It will improve as more KMs are piled up, hopefully.

Compared to my Vista, Spark is really a pleasure to drive in dense city traffic, due to its size, excellent steering and very good low-end torque.

@ GTO : Can't they not fit diesel engine of Beat in Spark? If yes, they can launch it at less price than Beat so that they can make more numbers. Spark with diesel engine can be a very good option for entry level diesel car in the Indian markets current scenario where people are going more and more towards diesel. Beats diesel engine is a proved one, so it can get benefit of that.

• New Wiper Hands(the metal hands)
• Rear Lamps are a little revised. The reverse lamp is now at an angle.
• Different tone of Gray on the dash, unline V1

I get about 9-10 in the city, most of this is in medium to heavy traffic.
On highways I get about 14-15. 100% AC and a ratio of 50-50 spirited and sedated driving.

I get around 12-13 with 50% AC in city traffic and 16-17 on highways.

I have always liked the Matiz errr... the Spark. Reminds me so much of my solidly built Daewoo. Kudos to GM for getting all styling cues right.

The speedo console looks pretty good in the pictures but i guess a more 'face to face' meeting will yield how well the design is actually working , on the seats though - horrible , would personally prefer solid colors to the design which Chevrolet has given.

Good looks, better than the previous version. However I would have preferred a conventional speedo console, 3 spoke steering wheel and a rear wiper (indispensable). Wish list - alloys on the top end version. It's a practical car however. And the car in the photos, is it a test mule? Coz I can see 140,449 kms already on the odometer!!!
