Since I cancelled my booking of Duster last year and Ecosport AT this year, Ive been craving for a good Crossover with AT or atleast a 4WD.

Diesel AT being contemplated too; if they find that there is a demand/response

Petrol AT ! that is a good option. I know many of my friends were inquiring about duster petrol with basic safety features. I hope Nissan will look into this.

From the discussions we are having here, it is clear that Terrano will be priced higher than Duster. I too believe the same as from the reports it seems that it would be better put together than Duster and also the design looks fresher. Now, if we are to believe Autocar India, this is what they have to say on Terrano pricing.

The good news is, as per Renault-Nissan’s pricing structure, the new SUV will be cheaper than the Duster by a few thousands at the very least.

Not sure if this has been discussed earlier, but if this is correct than what will happen to Duster with its inflated pricing? Or we then are looking at a price correction and early refresh for the Duster?

That is almost an year old news! All recent reports/speculations point that Terrano will be pricier then Duster.

They have updated some sections of the article, especially the photographs, but the copy content is not refreshed, at least for the Terrano.

I just hope that they do something about the extra fat front fenders, makes a very capable car look ugly! I recently test drove the Duster and I think its a more than decent car, but extremely overpriced. What did impress me was that I could drive the duster carelessly over a very very bad patch of road, where I had to be extremely careful with the XUV!

If Nissan looks into two things, the fender and the price, they might just have a prospective customer in me, as Nissan holds better place as a brand in my head than Renault! But looking at the Micra prices, I don't think Nissan will price it sensibly!

It definitely looks much more meaner than Duster and that is a good thing plus those sexy alloys!!!

Now, I really need to know whats written under the XV badge on the rear... is that 4WD?

The Duster's and Terrano's all sheet metal panels are same except the tailgate. Now Renault and Nissan can explore another option by offering a combo of Duster's front end and Terrano's rear end.

Sorry to spoil your mood. That is "dCi" badge to specify diesel variant. The same can be seen in Nissan Micra Diesel and Nissan Sunny Diesel variants.

The alloys though nice, look a bit out of place. Maybe it's the color of the car itself that doesn't really go well with these alloys. The multispoke alloys on the Fortuner may just look better here!

Those big brake lights look much more menancing than the Duster's.

Looking forward to the actual launch.
