After being disappointed with fiat at the auto expo for not giving us a taste of punto evolution, I really hope n wish fiat improves the interiors of punto just like they did with new linea.
Also exterior changes, on the lines of punto evolution will be an icing on the cake.
Fingers crossed, desperately waiting to see the new punto :-D

Will have to wait and watch , design , atleast external , was never an issue to begin with so for me a facelift does not help , sure there are some additional elements as part of the package now - will need to see what cost they make it to the showrooms with but fiat has bigger problems than design.

Could this be testing of AMT in Punto (along with other changes both external and internal)? I remember FIAT using AMT in Punto earlier (not in Indian market though), now since the MSIL has created interest in this technology and Tata’s are also looking forward to the same application, it may well be possible that FIAT India might give an additional AMT option to revive sales in India

Fiat will still import the 500 as a CBU and the Abarth kit too that goes into the car will be imported. The company said that they will be localizing something but those plans were not disclosed."

After looking at the placement of the blinkers and the fog lamps, it seems a bit different from the Punto Evo look that was expected. The tail-light cluster looks the same as earlier, except for the smoked look. I think now the blinkers are integrated in the ORVMs. The main improvement is expected in the interiors department and if FIAT can improve the quality in that department, it will be good news.

@JayKis, it's not your imagination, but bad photography courtesy takings snaps while on wheels that has caused the image (s) to be of average quality.
