I would think you change the pads and the discs based on measurements, not mileage.

Its covered under warranty and not star ease.

Re: Mercedes India's optional service packages & 4th year warranty

Hi. I'm about to own my first Mercedes (its the c220 d, 2015 - CBU). I need advice on whether to go in for the service package. The 3 yr or 60k km is about Rs1.6 lakhs and the 4 yr or 80k km is Rs2.6 lakhs. My running is very low - about 20,000 km in 4-5 years. Do i really need this service package? because as i understand, regular servicing once a year will cost about Rs35-45k. Would you think there'd be any unusual one-off type of expenses that could occur?

car_crazy1400 - i asked the dealer today if suspension related wear and tear would be covered in either the warranty, insurance or star ease packages - and he said none of them. There are certain types of wear and tear which are apparently excluded from all of these 3 covers. Sad! I wanted something to cover any unanticipated issues.
