Wow, The Santa-Fe sure is a looker. If priced correctly the feature loaded Hyundai may well be tough competition for the T-Fort in its 7 seater variant. If Honda launches their CR-V with their 2.2L or 1.6L oil burner at a good price then Hyundai will have a lot on their hands in selling the Santa-Fe.

Weren't there news that Hyundai has dropped plans of launching Sante Fe anytime before late 2014 as the current costs were coming out to be too high? I distinctly remember this being mentioned by Hormazd Sorabjee as well in one of the episodes of Autocar - scoop section.

Managed to check out the new Santa FE in a shopping mall here in Singapore. Pretty impressed with the looks and design of the car – probably the first Hyundai I liked.

The car felt very European, except for the overdose of chrome on the front grille. The steering and dashboard looked very elegant and understated, nice contoured front seats, and very spacious second row. The third row probably is good for kids, and fold flat to provide good usable boot space.
If it drives well, this should be a good addition to the SUV/Crossover space.

^^^ This could be a Hyundai (Santa Fe) going by the size or Nissan Qashqai or even a M&M product... all the factories R&D facilities are nearby. What do the number plates suggest?

I am NOT sure this is the Modus. From the previous spyshot, Modus sports a TN 19 number. To me, looks like it could be a Hyundai product (TN 21), may be the MUV from them. And again a twin exhaust can NOT mostly be on a Modus, should be on a premium product.
