It looks much better & gender neutral, as compared to current car, which looks feminine IMO.

Here are the official pictures of Nissan's facelifted Micra (or March as it is known in Thailand). Gone is the rather feminine image conveyed by the earlier Micra, instead you see a more aggressive (if slightly toothy) design at the front. The rear only gets subtle changes, but the LED lamps are a welcome addition. The interiors see minor changes and are the better for it. The Micra facelift uses Nissan's new 'V' platform hull making it the first Nissan car to use the concept. Because Micra sales have been dull in India, we don't expect any increase in prices when the facelift arrives here.




What's new on the facelifted Micra:

Exterior

• Wider front grill with beehive pattern. Chrome V-shape front ornament

• Front Bumper with chrome inserts

• New Headlamps

• Fog lamps with chrome inserts

• New 15" alloy wheels

• LED rear combination lamps

• Rear bumper

Interior

• Redesigned center console with new air-vents. A Piano black trim and silver surrounds

• Multi-Information display with several new alerts & warnings

• Audio system with USB port (in piano black trim)

• Steering-mounted audio controls

Is there still no passenger airbag and ABS ? If so, The Micra will again be a dud. The Exterior looks more masculine and is a welcome move by Nissan. Also, The alloys and blackened B pillar looks wicked. Can anyone say when can we expect the launch ?

This one looks better than the current micra. It will appeal to those who currently avoid micra as it looks a bit 'feminine'.

Full Details on the Micra Facelift

Nissan's facelifted Micra hatchback has been spotted in Pune by motorbash.com. The car wore black bumpers, but with body-coloured mirrors and door handles.

The launch of the new Micra in India could inject much needed momentum for the car which has been languishing on the sales charts. Additionally, the company is looking at launching a base version of the older Micra at a lower price. Nissan is likely to price the new Micra on par with what the current model retails at.

Those lights in the front don't match with the international model at all. But they look much better than the international one. front no longer looks cute.

Actually the headlight frame looks inspired by the Nissan GTR. But I think its a welcome move, might just give the Micra the boost it requires to up the sales. Too much roundness inside and outside is crazy.

According to Top Gear, Nissan indeed is revamping its Micra and the headlights resemble what Redline6800 has posted above. So in all probability we'll be seeing that version on our Indian roads soon. A nice deep blue color is available in the UK - hope we get that here too!

Personally i never liked any generation of micra, they tried making it look cute and ended up creating a very weird car, this facelift carries the legacy even further!
