Venkat (or anyone else), do you have the latest JD report? Maybe that will have a different picture.

Venkat, I hope you manage to do something about your Baleno. It's sad to see someone flaming their own car so much. Go meet up with the other Bangy boys, I'm sure they can help you out once they have a look.

The BALENO is a brilliant car and thats it!!! dont wanna compare it with anything.. I drove it, fell in love, bought it... no use arguing with anyone... if someone is hellbent on criticising the baleno, so be it, i have no hassels, its their point of view, as far as i'm concerned that car rocks!!!

"HIGHLY LOCKABLE THREAD" - I agree!

Guys,

I think we should give credit to Venky to bring out some facts before us, just because you love the car doesn't mean you are right.

I think we should atleast give credit to ppl who bring facts to table rather than flaming them. Facts are what makes BHP the forum it is..lets stop flaming ppl for their opinions, lets respect them and also put ur own opinion expecting same respect !

Thanks

Whoa If you are talking about "out of context sentences on FE", then definitely yes, but if intent of this thread was to highlight 2 year old (why?) data on JD power rating, I don't really think it was baseless. If you call JD power as baseless, that is different matter.

I personally do not attach too much credence to these publications... They are soooo like out film awards!!... Publication industry is governed by un underlying commercial code which no one bucks... how do I know... well.. you gotta have been in publishing!

Secondly I agree that this forum is about opinions... however I also assume its safe to assume (lol) that the members of this forum are intelligent and have the where-with-all to arrive at their opinion based on their OWN experience - rather than base them on extinct pieces of literature of dubious commercial origins!

I am curious to know why you call JD power survey as extinct pieces of literature of dubious commercial origins. Do you mean to say that it is useless crap or biased towards more "obliging" manufacturers? Reason for asking this is that JD Power is respected by many people.

After reading this thread, I would suggest that Baleno lovers dont gang up on someone just caz u love your cars, words like crap, abnormal person, etc. are not reflective of the spirit of this forum. He dug out a 2 year old report, and there seems to be general consensus amongst Baleno lovers that this report is baseless and extinct as its old. Do you have reason to believe that Baleno quality has improved over the years, do you have any new reports that reflect otherwise? In any case, I dont want to be drawn into an argument, as my opinions about this topic are well know. This thread is meaningless, as the same people have discussed this very topic in threads before.....

[quote=prince85]s. But before you do that i suggest you shut your crap about..quote]

IMO , you can agree to disagree gracefully with a fellow member of the forum without getting personal and abusive... Venkat made his point , you make yours..and end of the story !!

I would personally classify such people who abuse others in a public forum as cheap and lacking in class.

P>S> This still IS a public forum...so I can still butt-in...

ALL VENKAT IS TRYING TO SAY IS THAT BALENO IS A SCREWDUP CAR FROM A SCREWDUP MANUFACTURER...

Isnt it Venkat??

We dont agree...! I doubt your claims of owning one too...Ive never seen any baleno owner so unhappy with his car!!!
