thanks nitrous and spadival for replies.i searched around the accessories market and atlast found a mirror manufactured by some other company.the cover says its for baleno.got it fitted at the maruti dealership.
the cost of the mirror is 230 Rs.
the cost of original mirror is 1520 Rs

Hari_rama,

I am presuming that the cost of the mirror lens itself is 1520 /- , the complete Baleno mirror assembly costs well above 4000/- as per me.

Baleno single head light assembly (not pair) quoted at around Rs 2,000. I think this doesnt include bulbs etc.

I have replaced the RHS RVM on my Baleno twice, with a local mirror which costs about Rs 80.
It also moves perefectly with the electric controls.

Are you looking for oem air filter ? you can get it from any of honda dealer.

Or you are looking at aftermarket filter ??

anand the NHC OEM paper filter costs 261 + taxes. If u do not want to go to Deccan Honda for that, you can buy it from J M Road (shop diagonally opp to Jangli maharaj mandir, its just at the corner of a small-bylane that opens on J M Road)

OEM or any equally good one.

The Honda dealer generally refuses to sell parts as they do not want to
miss out on the opportunity to charge labour....

Do they sell OEM parts or equivalent?

Everytime I go to Deccan they give me a leaflet that tells how Honda air filter is out of this world in terms of nano-particle filtering...

How true is that?

Which one should I buy from the JM road shop?

cant remember the OEM brand offhand (i guess its not manufactured by HONDA...will check and let u know)....if the OEM is supplied by a 3rd party, i'm sure it must be available in the open market... there are many spare parts shop in that small lane, u can check

Gurus,

1)I tried my best to get the latest price list-MGP.No luck !! Any idea where we can get the price list for the spare parts? online?

2) I have an ESTEEM 98 MODEL and need some repair work as the front drive shaft has gone bad along with rear bearing. Plus brake lining and brake pads have also gone bad. what would be the approximate cost for each.

3) What's ur oinion on HANKOOK tyres?

I guess there's only one supplier for Maruti Genuine Accessories, that's Kuttukuran Automobiles, they source it to others, have you tried there?

hankook tires are good but you get better tires from bridgestone,Michelin in the same price range.post a query in the alloy and tire section.
