Re: Audi launches special-ed A6 @ 46.33 Lakhs

Thanks for the info, GTO. I think 6k in 6 years is a good number for a 40+ Lac luxury sedan. I have also started noticing quite a large number of A6 cars (esp. White) in New Delhi.

Here's some more info:
Quote:
Audi India has launched a special edition A6 for Rs 46.33 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car is to commemorate the sale of 6000 units of the car, in India, within just six years and features cosmetic changes on the inside and outside.

The special edition Audi A6 is being offered with two diesel engine options, 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI that churn out 176bhp at 3750rpm with 380Nm of torque at 1750 rpm and 244bhp at 4000rpm with 500Nm at 1400rpm respectively.

"With the introduction of the special edition we would like to thank our loyal customers for making the Audi A6 a huge success. Winner of the ‘World car of the Year’ award, Audi A6 has been a huge success in India, right from the time it was launched. We are confident that the special edition Audi A6 will set new standards in the luxury-class sedan category in India." said Michael Perschke, MD, Audi India.

Interesting! The A6 has always been my favorite sedan from Audi's stable. The A4 and A6 are largely responsible for the decent numbers that Audi is able to put forward on the table. The Special-ed kit also looks quite impressive. Way to go Audi.

PS: Is it just a coincidence that the post was made on a date ending with 6 and was last edited at 16:00 hours?

At 65+ OTR Mumbai for the 3.0 diesel - this is bound to have 4-5 lakhs discounts at launch. But for sure, the latest A6 is surely doing way better than the older generations across India.

Spoke to a dealer today regarding this. He said the Top end 2.0TDI has all the featurres mentioned, only the front passenger seat button is new. ie the rear passenger can move the front seat by pressing that button, for more legroom.

Re: Audi launches special-ed A6 @ 46.33 Lakhs

Hi all, Reports from IAB confirm that there will be facelifted versions of A6, Q3, Q5 for this year followed by all-new A4, Q7 in the next year. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, member of the Board of Management of Audi AG and head of Audi’s Technical Development said that 2014 will see the launch of the TT Roadster and “reworked (models) of the A6, Q3 and Q5″.

Thanks

AD

PS: I hope this is the right place for this info.
