Audi seems to be chuffed being the new market leader and what a nice way to celebrate bringing the "Hot" version of the gorgeous A6?

Head Honcho of Audi India, Michael Perschke said to IAB in Jaipur that the 420hp V8 (Bentley derived) S6 will reach our shores in 4-6 weeks' time.

The No. 1 luxury brand in India has recently launched the Audi R8 V10 Plus as its flagship offering and now the German car maker is all set to launch another brand shaping model, the Audi S6, in 4-6 weeks. The news came directly from Mr. Michael Perschke, Head of Audi India when we met him in Jaipur earlier this week.

Not really. The RS6 would be Audi's "M5". However, the RS6 is only available in the station wagon avatar i.e the Avant.

Performance variant of the A6, the Audi S6, would launch in India on either the 11th or the 12th of July.

German luxury carmaker Audi that launched the RS5 today in India, is planning a series of new launches and facelifts in the country. Audi S6, performance version of the company's flagship saloon A6 will be the earliest to hit Indian shores. The S6 will be launched on July 12, 2013, and this has been revealed by Michael Perschke- Audi India head while launching the RS5 today in Mumbai.
