I don't Honda will give 16 inch tyre for Jazz. All variants of Honda City comes with 15 inch tyre only.

The front grill looks similar to the one used in City/Mobilio. Most probably higher version will have a chrome one.

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

Why is that everyone says there is NO integrated indicators? I can see a strip on the OVRM and it's clearer on the cars that are parked by the side. Am I NOT seeing the right thing?

Nope. I don't think they are present. Same case with Fog lamps as well.

The indicators not present is more pronounced in dark colored cars. It is of the same color as the car whereas it should have been transparent to denote the glass.

If integrated indicators were present on ORVM then there would not have been an indicator on the side.

Following is VX variant of City. As one can see, it has indicator on ORVM and hence nothing on side body.

Following is SV variant of City which does not have integrated indicator hence its on the side body.

Close up snapshot of the ORVM without indicator. On light color cars and from a distance, one would assume that it has indicators

Realised the cars parked next to the Jazz are indeed the City (Sunroof & shark fin antenna)! This was one car I was really looking forward to! NOT any more! I think there is NO point in expecting Honda to bring "actual" premium cars anymore.

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

I wish Modulo package was to be made available in India when Jazz gets launched. It looks superb.

Also, Blue color is what I was hoping for. Hope Honda offers this color as well.

Disappointing to see old style radio antenna on the front. Every country where Jazz is launched so far, it comes with a Micro antenna. Also the lane change indicator on side is Orange in color, in City and international Jazz/Fit it is white color.

I live the alloy wheels and they are same as what is available in Malaysia.

I'm not a fan of mods but Modulo looks pretty decent better than Mugen atleast.

New Honda Jazz Goes into Production in India; Launch by Mid 2015

Quote:
The new-generation Honda Jazz will hopefully get the same engines as the ones that power the Amaze i.e. the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel. That said, there is also a possibility that Honda might launch an even more powerful version of hatchback, at a later stage, with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine.
Expected Price - Rs 4.5 lakh - Rs 8 lakh

Expected Launch - Mid-2015

No Blue colour. This is sad. Elite i20 has always been enticing me.Now even more after the spy shots. Should wait for more details before I jump to conclusion.

Do manufacturers start production 6 months before launch? Considering production has started I do not see them launching it later than March.

Regarding price this car cannot be priced lower than the i20 which starts at 4.89 lakh. They would do good to launch it at 4.99 lakh although I feel it would be higher. Just my thoughts.

After seeing the demand which was generated after the Amaze; City and Mobilio, I guess Honda doesn't want to take chances by loosing a customer due to the waiting period.

What they would do is, produce some cars and keep them as inventory to send it to dealers for faster sale. Jay like how Maruti Suzuki produced 6500 Ciaz before launch to keep the sales going on.

I think the exact launch date is anyone's guess. Honda has not revealed the exact launch date yet so all the dates we read and hear about are speculations. Also, these 6 odd jazz we see in the pics can be initial batch / test mules.

There is no pic which suggests that there are 100s or 1000s of Jazz already produced. I don't think Honda has started production of Jazz yet. Only if someone was to post picture with 1000s of Jazz in Honda's parking yard can be believe that March is indeed the launch month else mid 2015 looks likely.

The pricing of base version of Jazz will depend on number of variants Honda launches. If Honda was to launch 5 models of Jazz then there is a strong possibility of under 5 lakh pricing to grab headlines. However, if they were to launch only 3 models like previous generation Jazz then the start price would be over 5 lakhs.

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

A 4.5 starting price is enough bait to lure a customer into the showroom. Once in, the sales guys should be able to pull the "Amaze" trick on them

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

Honda it seems is indeed preparing for production of Jazz. They have already started importing parts for production.

While there are thousands of parts which they have already imported, following are some of the common ones we can identify.

Airbag assembly
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-airbag.png

Audio unit - Looks like we will get to see the same audio units as available in City
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-audio.png

Damper
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-damper.png

Exhaust pipe
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-exhaust.png

Light assembly - Fog lights also imported so top variant will come with fog lights
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-light.png

Parking sensors - Another feature in the mid and top varaiant
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-parking-sensor.png

Sun Visor
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-sun-visor.png

Tires - Note that there are 185/55R 16 tires. Will top variant Jazz come with 16" tires?
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-tire.png

Another interesting piece - Paddle shifts have been imported.
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-paddle-shift.png

Moreover, the Part No. of Torque converter matches with that used in Honda City. So is Jazz getting CVT like City?
The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)-jazz-torque.png

No sun roof's imported, so looks like this feature will get knocked out. I think 16" tires and CVT gearbox with paddle shift could be big bang announcement for Jazz.

I'd seriously doubt that! Going by the Gaadiwaadi scoop shots, the alloys are 15" and Honda AFAIK doesn't provide 2 variants of the alloy wheels for the same car unlike Fiat (case in point - Punto Evo). It's either the steel rims with the wheel caps or the alloy. Besides, they have mentioned EXPORT MODEL FOR HONDA JAZZ additionally in the description for the 16" tire.
