Re: Tata Motors announces Horizonext with 8 simultaneous facelift launches

The Nexon looks an evoque inspired machine, but the rear looks is not inspiring at all. May be the color combination at the rear of this concept is boring.

Re: Tata Motors announces Horizonext with 8 simultaneous facelift launches

Tata Motors’ Indica eV2 replacement “Kite” small car to debut in 2015.

Quote:
The new hatchback that Tata Motors is developing to replace the Indica eV2 is code-named the Kite. This platform will also play host to a compact sedan, which will replace the Indigo eCS. Both the Kite hatchback and the compact sedan car models will be launched next year. Since the Kite compact sedan will share most parts with its hatchback sibling, the compact sedan will also be built at Sanand.

Re: Tata Motors announces Horizonext with 8 simultaneous facelift launches

Akin to what Tata did with X1 platform, they will do the same with X0. Priced around 3-4 L, we can expect it as petrol only hatchback. Maybe a revotron without turbo. Sounds good, if Nissan can do it ( with Datsun), Tata too can. Sanand may get busy next year.

Re: Tata Motors announces Horizonext with 8 simultaneous facelift launches

It seems that Ankush Arora, Senior Vice President of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Business Units has resigned. Arora was part of the core team setup by the late Karl Slym to spearhead the HorizoNext Strategy on the retail front.
With the impending launch of the Bolt and the Zest, this definitely will send ripples through the sales arm of TML, especially the dealer community who may feel demoralised at such frequent changes.

Re: Tata Motors announces Horizonext with 8 simultaneous facelift launches

Tata has launched Movus silently.

Link to the news: http://indianautosblog.com/2014/05/t...aunched-129641

Looks good pricing to me. This vehicle has lot of potential for sure if marketed properly. Hopefully it will not have any issues to start with. Sumo is always a very spacious & tough vehicle. I find it better than Bolero in terms of space & power. Hopefully this will do better. Front facing seats is a welcome move for sure.

Do we get review of this vehicle on T-BHP? Would love to have one truly detailed report as always here

As per Motorbeam, Nano Diesel is not dead & has been spied again.

Here is link to their report on the small (unsuccessful) wonder car:

I think they are waiting for the diesel prices to hug petrol's. Then they will launch the Nano D. The major price differential and cost advantage of diesel is debatable now, once which was obvious. Please do not launch it if TML does not wants its failure list to be any longer. Bring a Nano EV though.

South Africa does not have the Tata-bashing baggage/heritage. Bakkies are all-purpose vehicles there, even used as an executive class vehicle with all the bells and whistles. It takes a lot to be top bakkie in SA.
