Hi folks, Looking to buy the 530i in Delhi NCR, including the 10 year / 1 lac kilometres BSI Plus. What is the best discount to expect? Have been discussing with Deutche and Bird for some time now, and the best available is 60.5 lacs all inclusive. Is anyone aware / help with a better deal?

Contrary to popular assumptions, Dealership don't earn much on sales of service packs and as far as I know, BMW does not yet support dealerships with concessions on service pack. So best will be to negotiate on Ex-Showroom prices, take quotes on Insurance from outside and then close the deal. Service packs or warranties can be bought later. 10 Year is too long time to consider initially in my opinion. Take a decision when your vehicle is due for service or in few weeks of there are any advantages of buying withing a certain period. 11,5 Lac on Ex-showroom looks good. Just check Insurance quotes outside and let them match. That can take care of a couple of thousands. The newer production models are with new style display so do check with SA.

Re: The next-gen BMW 5-Series (G30). EDIT: Launched at Rs. 49.90 lakh

BMW increased the price of the G30 by 10 Lakh's just within 2 years and then they show the 10 Lakh's as a huge discount to us. Isn't it a scam? This justifies their already exorbitant 50 Lakhs ex-showroom price 2 year's back.

You're comparing the bare-bones Sportline trim (now discontinued) at 49.99 with the with the new MSport trim in the 530i. The old sportline trim was quite bare bones for the segment, and the new trim at a similar price (after discounts) offers a lot more value.

Believe at the time of launch there was a 520D sportline as well that missed out on some features including auto park, etc.
The variants at launch were the following:

520D sport line
530i sport line

520D luxury line

530D M Sport.

I'm looking to close one in December itself too. Have the same 11.5 discount, but I feel it could/should be better. Anyone has more info about this? Maybe you and I can team up to move 2 units? Probably get some more discount?

Yes the 520d Luxury Line was also sold at 53.3 ex-showroom in 2017. Now the same variant is 59.9. That's a 7 Lakh increase. Features remain the same.

53.3 must have been for the sportline. I dont remember 520d Luxury at 53.3.

Re: The next-gen BMW 5-Series (G30). EDIT: Launched at Rs. 49.90 lakh

Had fantastic experience driving my 530D for long distances recently and returned yesterday. Having driven Octavia 1.8 TSI for 4 years and now with 530D, let me assure you all that this BMW is more car for the price. Apart from the obvious torque and the power, this thing is STABLE, got great suspension and fantastic brakes. (well this three picks are only from driving experience)

Do not think one will get similar car for half the price.

I don't think it is because of any oil. Even we got the exact same issue in our G30. Will be replaced under warranty this week.

It was. Quoting from page 13 of this thread: -

"49.9 lakh ex showroom for the 520d and 530i sportline
53.x lakh ex showroom for the 520d luxury line
61.3 lakh ex showroom for for the 530d M sport"

The next-gen BMW 5-Series (G30). EDIT: Launched at Rs. 49.90 lakh

Bmw seems to have gone back and introduced a new sport variant to the petrol line up under the m sport. Priced at 55.40 ex showroom. Bmw dealers tell me that they're hardly any takers for petrol and most prefer the fully loaded variant so wonder why this sport trim has been introduced again as it misses the damper system, auto park, sport seats, wireless charging and proper leather seats and has a different music system.
