Hello all
I was helping a friend with research on buying a hatchback, and in the process collected a lot of brochures,on-road price quotes to gauge the current market scenario.
I ended up compiling two documents, one to summarize basic
Technical Specifications & one as a
Price Range comparison tool of sort.
Here is short description of the two pages :
1 - All hatchbacks (excluding the luxury ones viz. Mercedes A-Class, Mini Cooper etc) are included, a total of
29 Cars
2 -
Only Petrol cars are considered, diesel/LPG/CNG cars are not included.
3 - All information is taken from brochures downloaded via the native websites of each car, information absent(in the brochures) is NOT filled in with alternate sources.
4 - The price shown is for
On-Road, Mumbai as on
21st September 2013, courtesy quotes from
carwale.com (please inform if this violates any privacy/law)
5 - The price list is designed for comparison at a particular price point (say 4.50-4.75 lacs), by looking at collums in the price charts, this was done since price was the focal point in the search & other factors like styling,FE etc were secondary
6 - I've separated the cars into segments based on my & my friends approach, I'm aware that it does not follow the industry standard (B1,B2 etc), please try and ignore it
I apologize for any errors in data or formatting, plsu the resolution maybe too small for certain text, sorry again.
