I feel 5 seater competes with top end Creta in price. 7 seater competes with Compass, XUV500, XUV700 and Hexa in price.

But they will pull the rabbit out of the hat only if they can compete price wise from mid range Creta to Hexa plus 1L for 7 seater at launch. They should revise to Hexa plus 2.5L 1 yr post launch.

Seriously the Discovery Sport looks bland compared to this.

Stunning. I wonder when the markets would start appreciating the company. Stock prices have completely tanked and the Jan sales figures are nothing spectacular. It is hard to believe that people will compare a car like this to the Creta. Everything else in the market would look outdated when it comes out. But then, people would still buy the Creta or SCross or XUV because of the misconceptions about "niggles and service".

Zappo, even with the current crop of SVU's, with the car companies giving features like rear-arm rest, how many true 5-seaters do we have ? Here at least this concept is showcasing 4 very comfortable seats.

Agreed but at the same time an arm rest howsoever uncomfortable still folds into the backrest and provides some kind of a seat for the 5th person. This one on the other hand seems to have some kind of a console in the middle. My only point is that this is probably a 4 seater and not a 5 seater as the initial voices were projecting. Yes, very comfortable 4-seater it will be though.

Most likely they may have 5 seater and 6/7 seater variants and what is shown may be the front two rows for a 6 seater layout. I doubt they would eventually ever have a pure 4 seater version as shown from the market acceptability point of view. Though if they did I could be a customer for such a version.

Whoa!Tata Motors, you guys have done a wonderful job!This looks really superb. If this is the design that is the future for Tata, things will look promising indeed. Just loved the elegant view from the sides. The rear is nice as well. I just wonder how the actual headlamps will look in the production spec model. Any idea if they will launch the 5 seater and 7 seater simultaneously?I will be looking to buy an SUV in the near future, and by the looks of it, my search will be a really short one if the 7 seater is launched in early 2019

STUNNING!!! This is leading from the front. Tata motors seems really keen to offer not just chrome here and there (formulaic desings) but rather designs which evoke emotions and make you really want one. I thought Nexon was in a different league compared to the current generations of cars but then they come up with this which simply blows my mind. I love the Evoque and Toyota C-HR and this seems to be the blend of two (best of both). With the quality levels now on offer on their new cars it is only a matter of time before more and more people start queuing up for TATA cars. I have done 5000+kms on my nexon and it simply amazes me.
Time to start plugging thoughts into Dad's head to upgrade his car to this one once it arrives

Wow this is just awesome and a true salute to the pedigree. I believe they should call the production 5 seater Sierra and the 7 seater Safari. The last time I saw a vehicle which felt so spot on in looks, features, positioning and pricing(hopefully) for its time was in 2002 when I had my first look at a Bajaj Pulsar.

It's official - I am cancelling my Nexon booking and saving up for the Tata H5X next year.

Right looks really awesome.
Now this is some futuristic design and seems to be derived from Range Rover Evoque. Hope this will finally make to production car with minimum iterations.
