Today again the sales guy called and I told him that I have credible info that 2.2L is coming in May. How can you say that it is going to take 1 year. To this he said that it is not possible because 2.2L is not even in manufacturing right now so how can it get launched in May

regards
POGU

So are we saying there shall be 3 engines( TCIC, 3.0, 2.2 ) in the three variants of the DICOR? I believe they shall phase out the TCIC. Anyone having information on the same

BTW, Doctorkats I shall be doing a continuous F5 from saturday night on this thread to check your update. Long Live safari DICOR

2 variants.. the 3.0 and the 2.2L
When i bought the dicor i also saw the TCIC on the sales list and i asked the salesman till when is this TCIC available.. and he told me that
the TCIC engine production has stopped. They are just clearing the stocks..
The add that you guys see about the Safari range starts from 6.4L onwards ... the 6.4L ex showroom is the TCIC and will be discontinued once the engine stocks are over...

The sales guy here said that there's hardly any movement of the TCIC Safari. It's the DICORs that are rolling. Looks like Tata is letting the TCIC Safari trickle to a stand-still.
