even iam excited too..but iam also waiting for the new Scorpio 2.2 ltr launch

hmmmm, if I manage to sell my baleno and opt for a company car, this safari is gonna figure very high on the list

lets hope it lives up to the hype and there is no ususal outsourcing of RnD by TATA to its customers!

Hey Steeroid. Test drive may be available from 21st i guess as these guys will have stock on 20th or 21st. And my personal experience with tata dealers, they do not really wait till the launch. Ask the dealer from whom you took ur safari and i am sure he will at least arrange for you to have a look and then a TD after 25th

sorry dear. I understand your inclination for Scorpio. Even i used to like it beofre i bought my safari. But now i just hate it and dont even feel like tracking the progress. Anyways I think it is expected before diwali

I had posted a thread about a month back for selling my baleno since I am getting a company car and dont have parking for 2 cars. Still to sell it since there is a logistic issue involved-the car has Bangy regn and I am in Hyd.

Yep surely second that, i drove the dicor of some management guy in TATAs here in Pune. His driver was kind enough for me to try it out. The Steering was way out of alignment and it had lots of play. I hope they fix this and get it on the lines of the Scorpio's steering. This will really add to the driving pleasures of this beast cause as said by Anand with 143 bhp you wouldnt want to point in the wrong direction and step on the Gas, cause then it would be too late...with bumper to bumper traffic these days.

All Bangalore Tata safari sales guys are in the 2.2l Safari Training, which has started from today afternoon. The training is taking place in Tata Regional Office, UB City, Bangalore.
