I assure that if i get this thing here, will take pictures but not sure of what quality :(

The guy told me that the TATA motors guys will be in the car and he will allow me to drive it though they are actually not allowed to even take the car out of the premises. They will take it out just to check if the vehicle is running well before TATA delivers it to them. Now this guy will in turn while checking it, will bring it here and let me drive..

So during that will take some SPY SHots he he he

I dont disappoint. Infact was the first one to get 100% sureshot news with features of this car.

Trust me, I am as eager as anybody else, and wont mind going to teh service centre like a burgler if it requires me to do so

If these guys receive the car today, even If i dont get a drive, will anyhow manage to get pics for sure...

Guys, I guess it cant get worse.

TATA guys i believe bought the vehicle to the service centre but they did not give it to them and took it back.

Rather they did not let these guys even drive. I guess somebody from TATA is also a member here :((

Now the vehicle will some back on monday morning and then will get to drive it.

Anyways, the interiors are yes beige confirmed again and the engine noise and vibration is significantly lesser.

Let me talk to some senior guys to get a hold on this thing...

Till then sorry guys.. special sorry to DCEite

Same story at this end (Pune). No show today as dealer has got no cars and now the TD has been pushed for Monday and still no price-list.

Not to worry rajeev, you have already given enough info about the new features, but I will wait for the post with your TD comments, since you drive a 3.0l and can actually pinpoint the differences in the ride.

There are 4 videos posted by this guy from Italy. Check them here . Fourth video looks like a cross-country steep incline done by safari. But in Italy they sell 4x4 only.

But yes, nice find, its a 2.2l and testdrive vehicle from TATA.

Hello All,

I am a newbie and very recently bumped in to this site as I as looking for expert opinions on a Diesel car. I went to check both Scorpio and Safari and my heart and head both wanted Safari, so I booked my dream car Dicor EX 3.0 in Manipal Motors on 22 this month. However, as I knew the SM and few other top guys through a common friend, they agreed to hold on the delivery (I quoted Shraad period).

Idea is to check 2.2L before making the final decision, though I read lot about 3.0 (pro and cons) and 2.2's (speculated information) from the last 1 week I am very confused at this stage.

so experts please help.

P:S: My contact here says the vehild for them would be delivered in a day or two, so Monday likely I will get a chance to drive it. however, I would be glad to know opinions from experts here.
