reahmash for 30k more price, the 2.2 is surely worth it. I think you should go for the 2.2, beige interiors and better pick up, FE, NVH levels.

Launch Date stands at 8th october as per dealer here

FE has been vouched for by him as better than the 3 ltr engine. and all the other details also mentioned by raj stands true.

They are getting vehicles by sunday/monday for PDI to be TD vehicles. Distance places have already got them

Ex costing more than current EX by 30-40k.

Now the good thing for all the LX dicor owners here is that it will still continue in its avtar for some time. (so no massive depreciation)

Will test drive the EX 2.2 soon to see its worth

my dealer keeps telling me of 10th october

so i have decided to pass time with adding something with PS before buying it
here what i have learned in 3 hrs

anyone can pass time
keep adding yor skills
(by the way can we really USE this size of tyres ?)

okay guys.......here goes!
super quick points after a 10km TD of the 2.2
no snaps were allowed.but will sneak some asap.
1.clutch soft
2.zippier than the 3.0
3.gear shift to the first needed two attempts every time.felt tight and hard.
4.aircon much better
5.top speed achieved 150kmph (ran out of road)
6.rear door rattles like hell.
7.interiors have already been discussed.somehow the biege colour looks like its going to get dirty real soon.
8.wind shear noise.
9.engine NVH less for sure
10.in cabin rattles as bad.sorry.
11.the FE achieved by the test team here said 10.3km/l

All in all it seems "Khoda pahad nikli chuhiya" they have not been able to improve the long pending niggles and seems as if the replacement done is only for the engine. Overall the cabin rattles and noise is a big disappointment.

The TATA guys were jumping around saying that their FE now is 15 city and 19 Highway, the FE part also disappoints.

I am more worried about all those cabin noises. I am already getting demotivated from the 1st TD.

More importantly can someone also confirm if this engine has VGT ???

It seems we will have to confirm each and everything here from other members TD, till TATA updates its specifications on the website.
