with rajeev, they have quoted similar figures for the italian safari 2.2, so it cannot suddenly jump to 15/19 here.

and only available in EX and VX models and price will be higher than current
What launch are you talking about ???, they are just coming out with an upgraded version of their EX/VX, the vehicle platform/design remains the same.

This is how this should be looked upon, lets not overhype it.

You Wanna See A 2.2?

So little action here today - all the action is on the cricket thread. SO here goes a surprise!

Another update. The training from TATA has been given only to the dealer's sales guys till now.

The guys who attended the training were to get a CD from TATA so that they can train their own showroom teams, however they do not have the CD yet. Thus the dealers may say anything, but actually only a few know it all

Moreover, The Service center do not have any sort of training yet. It has just started and Hyd guys will be getting this next week.

SO if the service guys do not have any training, what PDI can they do even if they get the vehicle say today. Moreover for initial weeks with no experience on this new engine, they wont be too confident of touching it or fixing any problems.

I guess, just wait for a few weeks guys, just wait lest we fall into a trap...And keep our fingers crossed that it comes out to be a good vehicle

IMHO, one should let the 2.2L settle down in the market for atleast 3 months after the launch then go for it.

By that time the road reports from the users would have come and the dealers & their mechanics all over would have got the hang of the new machine.

Thats a safer bet or if you are an immediate owner, dont get it serviced for 1-2 months initially

Oh, I assumed this was a spy pic. Any how, good enough to give us a good idea what it may look like.

Any pics for interiors? Again, just to have an idea of what it might look like.

Thanks for sharing, though

The guy who initiated this thread gave me the information I had posted earlier on pricing, interiors, dates etc.

However this thread has going on speculation mode for quite some time now. Time to put things to rest - SUV would you please step in here and do the honours please?

AND WHILE YOU'RE ABOUT IT WILL YOU ALSO PLEASE POST THE REST OF THE PICS (WITH TBHP WATERMARK, OF COURSE)

Guy's ... I dont think we need to speculate so much on the 2.2 L.
I am sure one of us out here will get factual information before the launch.

Till then i guess its time to close this thread / or Stop Speculating ... Mods do u agree ??

STEER : I dont have anymore Pics at the moment ...
