Just a suggestion... It would be better to watermark the image with the website name in the middle of image rather than on one side, as its relatively easy to cut the sides.

Last saturday, I went to one of the tata workshops to get my Safari serviced. I wanted to speak to one of the senior guys in workshop, who had sorted out a couple of initial niggles for me. Came to know that he is on a week's leave.

A little friendly chat with the service advisor disclosed that he has gone to pune for a week's training. The SA claimed he didnt know the purpose of the training, but we can hazard a guess...

Yes second that, launch now to end 1st week/2nd week of October here in Kolkata.

The dealers are trying anyhow to sell their 3 L stock, giving the LX at 7.4L with fog lights and footboard, but the 3L now is a depreciation disaster.

Saw a 3L LX 06 with around 10K kilometres - no buyers still at 6 Lakhs, and a EX06 with just 4K run totally new, well maintained - no buyers at 6.5 Lakhs.

Hi Guys - I spoke to my source here in Agra.

He says everything has been done - training staff, mechanics, even their workshops have been upgraded for the new engines.

New cars ( 15 for Agra ) have been despatched and should arrive in a day or two. Only thing left is the actual launch date ( this could take anywhere from a week to 3 weeks !!! ).

He says the best time to launch is 2 weeks before diwali. Apparently the Sharad period is starting ( or already started ) so no one will buy now.

ONE THING IS CONFIRMED - NEW SAFARI IS BEING LAUNCHED WITHIN THE NEXT 2 - 3 WEEKS - PERIOD !!!!!

And it is not only a new engine BUT a lot of changes have been incorporated. He says Its going to be a different SUV altogether. TATA has huge plans and they want to change the way people think about their cars - Knowing TATA I am sure they are !!!

This is exactly why I made that post about speculation. The launch is not 'postponed' - please see this post made by me several days ago (relevant portions highlighted).
