Thats the Tata Zest, the tail lamp design, C pillar and the OVRM are sure signs that its a Tata but why hide it when the car has already been revealed.

Its a Tata Manza with new clothes aka Zest. When is Tata going to abandon their Indica & Vista platform.
Side profile and mirrors are enough to tell its still the same old stuff in a new packaging.

This is definitely Tata Zest. I saw a fully uncladded Tata Zest today morning in Pune (Aundh area).

It too had a temp registration MH14 something; Red in color. The Variant (whether petrol or diesel) was also not clear. Only the Tata logo (Big T) and the Model name Zest was visible.

I felt that the boot integration somehow is not very great - as compared to Amaze. It was similar to Swift DZire.

It was indeed the zest. I was in Madiwala too but on the opposite side, heading towards e-city, when I took this pic. A bolt was following this car but I could not get its photo. Both cars got pulled over by a cop perhaps since they were in camouflage.

Edit - forgot to add, this was on the 14th. So, not the same day as Shyam reported.

I am in my office cab and just saw the BOLT on electronic city flyover. Camouflaged again. Wonder why. Had three occupants. Couldn't click as the traffic got me stuck.

P.S : within moments a vista came by. Rear definitely is improved. Overall the car looks better than vista in many ways in flesh

No sir, that is the Zest from Tata. The rear door design etc look more like Vista and scream Tata. Not a Honda at all.

Spotted Zest near Shoolay Circle, Bangalore
My observations
-Big car a la Manza. Five medium built people were sitting inside,comfortably
-Interiors seemed good. Premiumness comparable to Swift
-Dashboard Oriented towards driver
-Front looks different from other Tata group cars. More like Sunny/Kizashi mix

spotted Tata bolt today on Tilak road, pune. looks like this is the base/mid variant of the car which is without rear wiper, alloys,Projector headlamps, airbags and climate control AC. but the interesting fact is the car comes with music system with steering mounted audio controls and power mirrors. also the wheel size of this variant is 14".

Cannot believe that the test drivers have parked the vehicle and gone for street shopping letting the prying eyes & cameras getting more of intended by the management.

The cars are already displayed to the world, then why do they have to hide it now? I see no point in hiding cars now. I guess they should do testing without hiding it. It will surely attract potential buyers.

Tata, just make sure that these cars are properly tested before launch. We don't want version 2 here. If you want to capture market, make sure cars are perfect and will not have silly issues. Now a days people have so many options in the market that people wont look at your car if it has any issue or niggles. Best of luck

The fact that they have a steering with audio controls and without airbags indicates audio system with steering controls in mid variant. Probably Bluetooth connectivity would be skipped in mid variant. I wouldn't be surprised if they give the touchscreen AVN system from Manza for the top variants.

Well, not entirely, but there seems a certain design influence from the British arm. Certain amount of flatness in the dashboard design makes me feel so.

I saw zest and bolt test mules with similar reg nos on mysore-Bangalore highway sunday evening going towards Bangalore. Unfortunately Couldn't capture any pictures of the same

There is lot of chrome on the car at front and at rear to make it look like a premium offering. The test car was spotted with projector headlamps and alloy wheels.
Tata Bolt will also get a segment first – Driving Mode options for different moods of driving- normal Cruise mode, Eco mode and Sports mode. Tata aims to redefine the B+ segment with the Bolt.
