Stingray sale is about 5 to 6 % of total WagonR sale.

The Octavia isn't really burning up the sales chart. Everyone hailed it has a rebirth of the old classic so what fails it?

It would be good if you mention which company you are talking about.

That's probably an oversight since he would have copied from an article where the title mentioned the company name.

BTW, isn't it obvious in this specific case? I don't think we have two companies who sell more than 90k units in a month.

Re: November 2013 : Indian Car Sales Figures & Analysis

Tata Motors had dismal passenger car numbers in Dec-13 with under 10k units sold. Only silver lining would be the respectable UV numbers.

For more details please refer Motoroids report:

Re: November 2013 : Indian Car Sales Figures & Analysis

Ford's domestic sales does not seem to have improved. Sold just 5871 units compared to 7909 last month. Exports, however, seems to have increased to 5338 against the 4382 they exported last month. Still total production seems to have dropped by a k.

Re: November 2013 : Indian Car Sales Figures & Analysis

DZire sold 15400 + and Amaze sold 4400 + cars in December 2013. Clearly Honda is losing the plot here, that too with rapid pace. I guess it has to do with their attitude towards the customers and pathetic interiors they put into the car. Also since launch, they have increased the price. After the launch of Grand i10 sedan, i guess sales numbers will come down to below 3 K. Wake up Honda.

Honda will be Amazed to see the DZire numbers and they would DZire that they would sell those many Amaze

The low Amaze numbers can also attributed to the production of new city whose numbers are not included since they are still to be dispatched to the dealers. Not sure but this can be one of the reasons

Exactly! Honda seems to have prioritized new city production in December. The city ads are on TV.
