The Mahindra KOMODO concept SUV!

No specs, no prototype. Just a set of Autodesk drawings and a bunch of lousily doctored photographs from a student whose college project was sponsored by M&M.
What, really, is the big deal here?

Nice drawings by Mahindra. I dont see this happening for real anytime soon but it does look like Mahindra are showing sone ambition!

LOL! That's not even a real concept, just some computer rendering by some amateurs.
In comparison Tata Motors has showcased some exciting concepts at the Expo (pls check their thread) which are almost close to production.

Heavily influenced by and a badly photoshopped version of, the 'crowdsourced' Local Motors Rally Fighter. I don't see any official mention of a Komodo concept anywhere except on a host of Indian automotive sites, all of which are known to pick up news from each other.

Its a troll, IMHO.

Eventhough Mahindra has been ambitious & fearless in producing cars like XUV, those oversized wheels will never see the light of day.

However, It does look a bit quirky from certain angles but I think the overall shape is great. They should definitely give it a shot.

The concept should be a base for the design in future Mahindra products. Like most concepts, any production version will be tamed down mercilessly when the accountants get involved. However, if not a Mahindra, I can see a Ssangyong getting certain traits from the Komodo.

The design on this thing is insane and if not a civilian vehicle, it could make for one hell of a defense SUV design. The styling is oddly familiar and I feel Tata could do a good job by reviving the Sierra with something that looks at least 30% as radical.

This concept was seen like 2-3 years ago on Autocar forum. Seems some ambitious NDTV reporter found it on google and thought of doing a story on this again.

Its a very old concept designed by an artist based on the Urus as mentioned earlier in this thread. Good design, but yes no harm in Mahindra trying to do something like that in limited numbers.
