The new Maruti Suzuki WagonR

was just reading HT today morning when i came across this news article about Maruti's "rounded" wagonR to be launched this october. I hope its an upgraded version of the wagonR.

Any one with some spy pics and more information?

Yes i have the pics...completely forgot to post them. The new wagon r was spotted in lonavala on 22nd june. Pics coming in the next post. Pardon the poor quality, it was raining quite a bit.

I'l tell you the changes that i could see...new tail-lamp and headlight cluster, but similar looking. The position of the rear number plate has been moved from the bumper to the hatch. New colours, new wheel caps blah blah blah blah.

PS: Imageshack is still not working

From what i can make out of the faint pics, looks like the exterior is based on the wagonR+ (Solio).. dont know if it is actually wider and bigger than the current wagonR

Why the heck don't they introduce WagonR+ (the wider one) in India? If you remember the famous quote by TopGear (not sure) about its ride quality: it is like making love to an Ethiopian transvestite without protection.

Don't ask me what has the quote to do with ride quality. As usual, a case of motoring journalists having nothing much better to say and launching into verbal pyrotechnics.
