Ford India has discontinued the outgoing generation Endeavour. Production was stopped since January 2015, and all existing stocks were cleared off by the dealers recently.

The third-generation Endeavour, known as the Everest internationally, will be launched by Ford India in the next few months, going up against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Renault Koleos and the likes.

With the new generation model launched overseas, dealers across Mumbai have confirmed that Ford India has silently discontinued the outgoing Endeavour in the country since January this year and have stopped taking bookings from customers. In fact, dealers have also cleared the existing inventory of the SUV in the country. The company has also stopped dispatches of the SUV since last month.

In the following months, Ford India will be launching the third generation Endeavour (Everest internationally) that is a major upgrade over the outgoing model. While engine options are likely to be the same, the SUV will be heavily equipped with tech including SYNC 2 system, Terrain Management System along with All-Wheel Drive while the exteriors get the extremely sharp and prominent appearance with massive road presence.

Looks like a swollen Ecosport. With the talks on Trailblazer launch need to see how the SUV segment will turn up to be.

This thing is So GOOD LOOKING. Price this right and this looks like it will dethrone the Fortuner if Toyota does not do something drastic.

It looks good, has lots of features, (unless they really strip it down for the Indian market)
Price it right and the ford has a winner in hand in india.
Waiting eagerly for it to launch,its high time i need a replacement for my XUV.

In the video of the new Ford Everest, there are rotary dials to select between different off-road modes. The most important mode IMO is missing, water. Have a look

The New Endeavour is altogether a different breed. My source in Ford informed me that the new Endeavour will be launched in two month's time and is expected to be priced around 30 Lakhs.I hope it is OTR price and not Ex-Works.

I own the old Endeavour and simply love the way it drive. In a few years, i hope i can lay my hands on the new truck.
