The article says that 1.6 is from FIAT . Either its a wrong quote or a good news for FIAT lovers. Chances of this engine finding its way in Linea might increase.

Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson got his hands on an S cross and has written his review about it. Here's the link.

http://www.driving.co.uk/car-reviews...s-allgrip-sz5/

As expected from Jezza its hilarious but I don't think Suzuki is going to appreciate his humour as he bashes the s cross left and right.

He gave it a rating of 1 out of 5 and even said the much awaited 1.6 mjd is rubbish! Maybe the Brits have set really high standards for their cars over there. Anyways its worth a read.

This looks like a hatchback (and not even a jacked up hatchback), rather than a softroader (aka Ecosport, Duster/Terrano). The vehicle just does not seem to have any presence whatsoever.

It's not the Brits as such. Jezza is just not the guy you want to be reading honest auto reviews from. He's hilarious and I never miss an episode of TG, but actually taking him seriously is not something that's easily done.

Here's another brit review: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/suzuki/sx4-s-cross
And a comparo: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/suzuki/...ross-vs-rivals

Jeremy is known for speaking out his mind. Maybe he is too old school to get the appeal of the hatchback-crossover trend of todays.
I am pretty sure he hasn't got anything personal against suzuki. He has reviewed the swift sport and has nothing but praises for it.

Spotted a Vehicle on test-Which one is it?

It is not usual to spot a camouflaged car on test in this part of the country, and that too with a Chandigarh registration number.
Which one is it? SX4 Cross?

Scoop: Honda or Hyundai?

Ok guys spotted this camouflaged car for the third time today on the Zirakpur – Shimla Highway (Himalayan Expressway). First time round, abount 10 days back, saw the car from a distance on the highway while I had already taken the exit ramp. Second time (last week), I was travelling in the opposite direction on the same highway.

But today I spotted it before I took the exit ramp and since my next client meeting was still 30 minutes away I decided to follow.

Smart guys in the car never slowed down. Had to click pictures while I drove. Tried to park next to them at a signal but they wouldn’t let me. Raced ahead to the toll plaza and waited for them to arrive so that I could ask a couple of questions, 10 minutes later and no sign of them. That’s when I figured that they took a U turn under a flyover and went back. They are driving on the same stretch from Zirakpur to the toll plaza over and over again. (Therefore 3 sightings in 10 days).

Looked like a Honda but could be Hyundai as well.

Re: Scoop: Honda or Hyundai?

Hi,

It looks like the upcoming SX Cross from MSIL.
The front grille is a give away, I think.

Also the alloys, they look like the Swift ZXis.

Re: Scoop: Honda or Hyundai?

Its definitely not a Honda or a Hyundai, maybe a Suzi or a Chevi! IMO!

Re: Scoop: Honda or Hyundai?

This is the S-Cross from Suzuki, I reckon.

Seemsthey have started testing it as well. Looks close to the final version.

Experts, when is the expected launch? Any news? Are they targeting Diwali?

Re: Scoop: Honda or Hyundai?

This one is certainly the S-Cross.
See this post from another thread where the same car with number ending 215 is being discussed.
