Brochure of the limited edition XUV500. Looks like we were all wrong. It is an addon to the W8 and not the W6. The seats are a mix of leather and cloth on the limited edition.

Aditya, any idea how much more this new model is over the regular W8 version?

The regular W8 (FWD) is priced at Rs. 13,43,349 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) as per the company's website. So the Sportz is roughly Rs. 25,000 more expensive.

Save the reverse camera, I really don't find anything appealing in the Sportz.

Mahindra has come up with video which lists the features of special edition. Apart from the white exterior / dark interior combo which is not available in usual variants I don't there is much going for this.
Camera costs only Rs 2500 from Mahindra showrooms and you get it part of free accessory, so not much of a value addition taking a special edition in my view.

Just saw sports edition of silver XUV, the graphics was in fluorescent orange. I could not take pics as I was driving. It's was on ORR NEXT to the Renault showroom@bangalore.

Saw the car at Anant Cars yesterday. Should agree that vehicle looks better than in pics. Especially the alloys.
Interior is the same as W8 apart from the fabric + leather combination. Should say that does like an aftermarket job in a bad way. Not sure how Mahindra came up with a cost - feature - target customer plan for this model.

Is this a new colour or the regular Satin White available for W8? From the pictures, it looks like more "whitish".

There was no other white XUV nearby for comparison, however from what I saw it looked like regular Satin white color.
It looked bit different due to darker decals all around and the stickers.

Limited edition in mahindra speak means they order x number of stickers and once they are used up the limited ed stops

. Recently the bolero had a limited ! The unusual thing is their fixation with the word "sportz" with a teenagers spin on the spelling. Imagine having the crazily spelt word all over a 10L+ vehicle. The average customer of the xuv has outgrown the word & the way its spelt. Mahindra please grow up
