Thank you very much, will more AH battery create any issues for other electronics ( alternator and all) , Fiesta seems to be loaded with electronics.

No issues with a higher ampere-hour battery. Go ahead.

Just checked with some informed guys in FORD, EGR valve doesn't require cleaning in Ford diesel vehicles.

Well, they would need to be cleaned at some point, just that it wouldn't be every 30k kms.

That "some point" is exactly what i was trying to find out. But Fiesta's service manual doesn't mention EGR cleaning anywhere till 1,60,000kms service recommendations.

Since it is not mentioned in manual, I would suggest going by the cars mileage. (kms run)
Usually, EGR cleaning happens nearing a lakh kms.

Folks,

Has anyone installed arm rest in your fiesta ? I'm traveling a lot off late during weekends and the missing arm rest is taking a toll on the shoulders.

Looking to buy one in a local shop in Coimbatore. Any advice/suggestions would be most welcome.

What I got is a broad memory foam neck pillow. It supports the shoulders very well indeed. And note that the seatbelt is height adjustable. Getting a third party armrest would very likely interfere in your changing gears so don't use that.

Guys my Fiesta has a vibration since I crashed into a speed-breaker at high speeds. The car didn't just jump over it, it literally crashed. It was horrible. I am guessing some engine mount might got broken. Service centre says vibration is a common issue in new/global Fiesta. They have been unable to assess the root cause. What do you guys suggest?

Just to start with get the tyres rotated, aligned and balanced at some good tyre shop - and while it's raised up for these checks examine the car underbody thoroughly - including whether brake pads / discs are touching the wheel at some angle. Then try to suspect engine mounts and suspension after that.

Vibration isn't all that common in the global Fiesta I am not sure why your SA said that.
