German luxury carmaker, Mercedes- Benz has launched the 2014 CLS350 four-door coupe in India at an introductory price of Rs. 89.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2014 CLS350 has been given a new diamond silver colour, LED tail lamps and 18-inch, 15-spoke alloy wheels.

The interior of the CLS350 features a Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system with 14 speakers including a subwoofer and a 9-channel amplifier. There is a multi-function steering with gear shift paddles, sliding sunroof and ambient lighting with three settings - Neutral, Solar and Polar. Other equipment includes Active Park Assist with parking sensors and camera and Airmatic suspension, which helps the driver increase or decrease the ground clearance according to the road conditions.

The CLS350 is powered by a 3498 cc, V6 petrol engine, which is mated to a 7G-TRONIC Plus automatic gearbox. With power and torque figures or 302 bhp and 370 Nm respectively, Mercedes claims that the car can do a 0-100 kph sprint in 6.1 seconds and attain an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph.

The CLS350 competes against the Audi A7 and BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.

It's sad that they didn't launch the CDI and AMG versions of this CLS in India.
