I think all service personnel are getting trained for the new Innova. The SA at Nandi Toyota(Kanakapura Road) today insisted that the new Innova is going to be out soon. He seen to imply that it will be coming in Q1 of 2015.

Why would service personnel get trained now, for a product getting launched in Q1 2015? Way too early! They wouldn't want the secrets to leak so soon.

Usually, have seen the training happening 2-3 weeks before launch.

From a fairly reliable resource, the new Innova will be out ONLY in 2016 !! Could NOT get further information as the release time is kept confidential.

This could be a part of the routine training conducted by Toyota. Heard from my friend that they are now planning some product refresher courses for all SA's. Got nothing to do with the new Innova launch.

Very true. My interaction with their dealer SA's in the past confirms this. "Trainer" training is usually completed 1 month before launch. Post that, the "Trainer" (a designated person at dealership) will undertake internal training at dealership and complete it, say a week before launch.

There is no way the new innova would be launched in Q1 2015. There might be a limited edition or special edition at the best to clear out old 2014 stock.

Fantastic pics! The taillights and all the lines are clearly visible. The car seems to be a bit larger than the current innova!

The window shot gives us a glimpse of the interiors- seems to be similar to the new corolla in theme.

The rear overhang seems longer than current. Either this should translate to more leg room for the 3rd seat or more luggage space. This will put additional stress on the rear suspension (with the weight compensation mechanism they have). Any idea if the wheel base has also increased?

The C-Pillar portion looks me very Land Cruiser'ish. Pretty looong car! Hope they have a good package when launched.
