Comparing the two, i feel the Hilux face is more appealing, and more in line with Toyota's family face, like that on the previous model Kluger sold in Australia.

Thank you for the enlightenment on the subject. I would prefer waiting for the official launch and till then lets keep searching for the photos of the much awaited ALL NEW Fortuner.

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner would be having it's world premiere on the 17th of July, 2015, in Thailand. Thai invitations which have been issued for the "all-new' Fortuner confirm the same.

Update;

This latest update of the new Fortuner has been the least pleasing, it shows us the models which are going to be available & it seems there will be no 4x4 M/T, this news puts a dagger into my heart & my plan to replace my Fortuner with the new gen.

2.7V 4x2 6A/T
2.8V 4x2 6A/T
2.8V 4x4 6A/T

This indeed is a dark day for me & for others who were planning the 4x4 M/T

It is seriously sad day for all MT fans

But somehow I am still hopeful that India might get an MT Box along with 2.8Lt engine. It is offered in HiLux so why not Fortuner. Even if this news is correct it won't be true for all markets. I am still keeping my fingers crossed

Karan don't lose all hope, since I read somewhere that LC Prado is getting 4x4 MT, we might also get it in Fortuner.

Looks like you're correct. It isn't offered in current fortuner either

A very reliable source has pointed out to me that Toyota will first launch the new Innova by end 2015 and the Fortuner will be launched only in end 2016.
To me this means that the Ford and the Chevy Trailblazer might arrive earlier or around the same time.

Thanks for that post & screenshot, it gets comforting now & rekindles the hope.

But at the same time the new Endeavor's big 3.2 5 cyl diesel doesn't come with a M/T so if Toyota thinks the same way, it might be bad news then :(

Headlightmag is reporting that All New 2nd Generation Fortuner will debut in Thailand on 16th of July and not 17th as reported earlier.

I think after international unveiling on 16th July there will be local launch in various parts of Thailand on 17th 18th and 19th July (Similar to how Toyota Motor Thailand unveiled HiLux Revo on 21st May followed by local launches on 22nd, 23rd and 24th May).
