No that is incorrect. The VTEC's in India even the earliest ones only came with the VTEC badging nothing else. If there is additional badging then it is additional stuff installed by the owner.

c'mon man that guy mustve definitely put the exi on or check if the car was an exi n hes shifted badges n put vtec instead

Yup the standard OHC VTEC alloys, the machine polished ones are actually manufactured by Enkei & are of superb quality. I can vouch for that!!

Don't know about the correct code but even the stamping on my engine says B15C2.

My Vtec has serial B15C2. The 1.5 non-VTEC is B15C1 I think. The 1.3L is D series engine I guess though not sure about it.

The NHC & ZX are L series engine.

OHC Vtec's engine code is B15C2, but similar to the D15 series i guess.
